Engine strip

this morning i began to start strippping the engine and i have built up a huge collection of parts, i plan to paint it like this picture but my exhaust will be red. its going to get worse before it gets better.

Engine Out

The first work has started , after my machine mart suff came, axle stands, trolly jack and car creeper. Me and my dad, starteds work at 1 and finished 3 hours later. now the engine is out, on a workmate and prime for some tinkering.

Mistake!

in my earlier post i quoted Gerald ( the motorbike) as a 250cc C12, but just now, looking through some old manuals i found i have realised he is infact a 175cc D3 from 1956, sorry for the mistake!!

When i moved in to my new house, i inherited a 1950's BSA C12 Motorbike, it has a 250cc engine and a horn, the engine needs a complete rebuild and i will do that in the winter, ready for my 17th birthday.

Plans for the future

I want to make poppy into a Cal-Look Beetle Like this. I probabbly wont lower her like the picture because my welding isn't up to scratch, but i can do the rest.

Buying and Moving

Like two of my dad's buses Poppy was bought on eBay for the handsome sum of £527. Unfortunately the day the auctioned finished i didn't have the Internet, so I had to get my Auntie to buy her for me. When Poppy was transported i was still at my boarding school, but luckily she came home safely.

About Poppy

Poppy is a 1969 VW Beetle 1500. She is a deep red and that is why i called her Poppy.
